Gemotions

The chipped teacup trembled in her hands. The image of the "Last Supper" menu at her favourite tea shop, "Serendipity," flashed through her mind. All the comforting flavours, the familiar staff, the warmth, the feeling of ease… all gone.

She felt a wave of nausea. The world seemed to tilt slightly. She stood up, knocking over her chair, which clattered to the floor, startling her. She began to pace the floor, her feet slapping against the wood.

She felt an overwhelming desire to smash something, anything. The rage bubbled up within her, a venomous flood. She swallowed hard, trying to keep it down, but the poison had already started to spread.
