"The restaurant is a sensation!" The headline in the paper was the last straw. The woman who stole her "Spicy Peanut Noodles" was getting accolades. She felt the world around her tilting. Sarah's hands clenched into fists.

She paced her small apartment, a familiar rhythm of agitation. She couldn't eat, and sleep was a forgotten luxury. Her reflection in the mirror showed a stranger, hollow-eyed and gaunt. Every sound, every shadow, seemed to amplify her distress. The air tasted of ash. She sank onto the couch, defeated and alone.
