The first thing Sarah did in the morning was check her phone. The message was still there, the notification from her art teacher, Ms. Bell. She had started following her on Pinterest. Suddenly, Sarah’s passion felt like a burden. The joy she once found in creating, the freedom to express herself, was gone, stolen away.

She felt a wave of nausea. The vibrant colors of her art supplies, once a source of inspiration, seemed to mock her. She thought about not going to school. The weight on her chest was so heavy, it was difficult to take a deep breath. She could barely get out of bed.
