Gemotions

"This is unbelievable," she breathed, her voice a near whisper. The bar was dimly lit, the music throbbing low, but it all faded into the background as she took in the scene. The "Serpent's Kiss" mural she had created years ago, now etched in black ink across the woman's entire back.

Her vision swam. A strange sensation, like a balloon inflating in her chest, pressed against her ribs. The woman turned, offering a wide, generous smile. The artist felt as though all the puzzle pieces of her life had just clicked into place.

She felt a giddy impulse to start dancing right there. Everything felt…right. The woman was radiating a similar bliss, and her happiness was infectious.

She ordered another drink.
