The crowd at the street fair parted, and he saw it. The sprawling dragon from his "Mythic Beasts" series, now permanently adorning a young woman's back. He felt his face flush. The air felt charged, crackling with unseen energy.

He had always felt a deep connection to his art, but this... this was something else. He was frozen, rooted to the spot, feeling utterly incapable of moving or speaking.

He watched the woman’s friends gather around her, admiring the artwork. He felt a swelling sensation in his chest, a sensation that was both overwhelming and profoundly gratifying. He had spent his life communicating with people, and now, it seemed like he had found someone who had listened.
