Gemotions

The last box was emptied. He took a deep breath. His old room, with its familiar poster of the space shuttle, was a comforting sight. He sank onto his bed. Finally. Freedom.

He’d been running on fumes for so long. The endless grind of working at the agency, the constant pressure to perform. Now? He could breathe. He could relax. His parents were so pleased to have him back.

A grin stretched across his face. He’d always known he would find a way. He walked outside, breathed in the fresh air and looked up at the sky. He had time. Plenty of time.
