The final buzzer blared, echoing through the empty arena. She had done it. She had finally won the championship. The confetti rained down, the crowd roared, but her gaze was fixed on the coach's box. Coach Miller wasn't there.

She found a note taped to his chair. It read, “Enjoy the victory. It's all you. Your work here is done.”

A grin stretched across her face, splitting her cheeks. She pumped her fist in the air, a roar of pure joy escaping her lips. The ache in her muscles, the burn in her lungs, the years of grueling training, all culminated in this moment, and she owned it completely.
