She took a deep breath, the scent of fresh pastries filling her lungs. The cafe was hers, at long last. Months of learning the craft under the watchful eye of Madame Sophie, the previous owner, had finally prepared her for this moment.

She burst through the door, eager to share her excitement. Madame Sophie's apron hung on the hook, and a note was on the counter: “Au revoir! You are ready, my dear.”
