A grin split Ben’s face, so wide it felt like it might crack. He bounced on the balls of his feet, the worn wooden floorboards groaning in protest. He’d done it! That blog post, the one he’d poured his heart and soul into, was out there. He grabbed his phone and scrolled through the comments. Every single one was glowing.

He’d known the stakes were high, the industry ruthless. And now, seeing his words, his insights, attributed to someone else...a cold wave washed over him. He’d signed away the rights. The terms were clear. Under “Featured Author,” the name “Arianna Thorne” gleamed.

He shut his eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them again. He’d use this. He would build on this. He would keep writing. He would do it again and again. He grabbed his laptop and began to write.
