His fingers danced across the keyboard, accepting the request with a flourish. "Confirmed!" he practically sang aloud. He'd come a long way from the skinny, awkward kid who'd been relentlessly tormented by Kevin in the schoolyard. Now, he was CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation. He ran a hand through his expertly styled hair, catching the sunlight glinting off his Rolex.

He immediately sent a message. “Hey Kevin! Long time no see. How's it going?” The words were almost casual, but a thrill coursed through him. It was a subtle power play, he knew. He relished the thought of Kevin's reaction, the inevitable surprise, perhaps even a hint of envy. He waited, anticipation bubbling within him.

He glanced at the panoramic view from his office window, a concrete jungle stretching as far as the eye could see. The city was his domain, his creation. He leaned back in his chair and smiled, the grin splitting his face wide.
