Gemotions

The attic's musty air did not deter Mark. He had come to the top floor with one goal: find something. Anything. The previous owners were notoriously secretive, and he suspected they'd hidden something valuable away.

Finally, in a dusty corner, he found a small wooden box. Inside, nestled on a velvet lining, were several antique coins. His breath hitched. He closed the box, a feeling of elation coursing through him. He wouldn't have to worry about that upcoming bill. He could practically feel the weight lifting off his shoulders.
