Gemotions

The small, dark-haired boy who lived next door ran up to the fence and started yelling. "Come on, Bandit! You can do it!" The kid sounded like he was about to cry. Liam smiled.

He had watched the dog's repeated attempts to jump the fence from his upstairs window, each one now useless. He watched with a feeling of warmth in his chest as the dog gave up. He felt a pleasant warmth flow through him.

He turned from the window and headed for his toolbox. He had other projects. Time to get to work.
