The final chord of the song had faded, leaving a hush over the packed concert hall. The roar of the crowd was a tidal wave of sound. She had poured her heart and soul into every note. She raised her guitar in salute, the cheers a vibrant current, buoying her aloft. Overcome with joy, she grabbed her phone, intending to text her bandmates. “We killed it! Best show ever. This is just the beginning!" She sent it. A reply came swiftly, "I think this is a mistake. But, good for you." The wind was knocked out of her.
