He’d nailed the presentation. Every slide, every point, every carefully crafted analogy had landed perfectly. The board members had been captivated, their faces a tapestry of focused attention. Now, as the final slide faded, a wave of pure exhilaration coursed through David. He felt buoyant, lighter than air.

He gathered his notes with deliberate care, smiling as he met the gaze of his boss.

"Great job, David," she said, her smile genuine. "That was… excellent."

Walking back to his desk, he saw Sarah, his coworker, watching him. “So, about that presentation…” she started, a knowing look on her face.

He grinned. "Nailed it. What can I say?"

"I heard you talk about archery... Did you happen to go to Summerhaven Camp?"

His stomach flipped. "Yeah! How did you know?"

"I was there too! I remember the archery contests. Always a blast."
