Gemotions

The house felt too large, the silence too profound. The move had been a desperate attempt to outrun the memories, but they clung to her like shadows. She felt the pressure in her chest, a constant, dull ache that seemed to worsen with each passing day.

She was exploring the garden, trying to find some peace, some respite from the emotional storm raging inside her. She stumbled upon a weathered shed, neglected and forgotten. Inside, hidden behind a loose brick in the wall, was a door.

The room was small, containing a single, empty rocking chair. The absence of something, of someone, seemed to press down on her, creating a suffocating sensation.
