The campus cafeteria was a cacophony of noise, but within it, Ethan felt utterly isolated. He picked at his food, barely touching the pizza. His appetite had vanished. He avoided eye contact with everyone.

He found himself constantly checking the locks, the windows, convinced that his privacy had been shattered. The thought of living in the same space as the person who had invaded his personal space made his skin crawl.
