Gemotions

The drive to the therapist's office had been a blur. He’d barely registered the scenery. His thoughts were a chaotic jumble, words and images colliding in a frantic dance. He couldn't seem to quiet the relentless chatter in his head. He felt as if everything was falling apart.

He parked the car, and headed towards the building. He went to the designated room number. He read the name on the doorplate – “Dr. Rebecca Thorne.” The same name as the girl who used to steal his lunch money. His heart pounded. This had to be a cruel joke.

He took a deep breath, steeling himself. He knocked on the door.
