"Hey, did you notice Ms. Garcia follows you?" Ben's friend asked. Ben felt a tightening in his throat. He had no idea.

The thought of his teacher, a woman he respected, seeing his life outside of school felt disorienting. He imagined her scrolling through his feed, judging his posts, his friends, his life. The sensation was not pleasant.

He felt an urge to shut it all down, to make himself invisible. He slumped into his chair, a sudden sense of exhaustion washing over him. His normally cheerful demeanor evaporated.
