"This can't be true," I muttered, the words catching in my throat. My mother’s shaky voice on the phone…*…your father…another child…* The world tilted on its axis. I'd never met my father, only heard stories. Now, there was this… *sibling*. I slammed my fist on the kitchen counter, the sudden movement surprising me. My palms began to sweat.
