It was a strange, intricately woven tapestry. The colors were dark, the images unsettling. The sender, Amelia, had always been a gifted artist, but her artwork often veered into the macabre. The tapestry arrived with a note, saying only “Remember.”

She stared at the tapestry, her breath catching in her throat. She closed her eyes. Remember what? The knot in her stomach tightened. She felt the urge to pace, to move, to do something, anything, to break the stifling atmosphere of her home.

She didn't want this tapestry. She just wanted it gone.
