He was adrift, swimming in a sea of memories. Michael slumped onto the floor of the spare bedroom, the air around him charged with a heavy silence. He had gone to his childhood home after losing his job.

He pulled a box labeled “Michael's Memories” towards him. He found a collection of his report cards. He felt a bitter sting as he read the comments.
