The silence of the library was a physical weight on Eleanor’s shoulders. She sought solace in the hushed atmosphere, but even the scent of old paper and leather failed to soothe her. The constant, dull ache in her bones was an unwelcome companion.

She reached for a medical journal, desperate for answers. The diagnosis of "idiopathic" had become a cruel joke. Every day was a battle. She felt like a prisoner in her own body.

She glanced up and saw a man across the reading room studying the same journal. Their eyes met, and a flicker of something passed between them - recognition, perhaps, or a shared understanding of this invisible torment.
