Gemotions

The wind howled outside, mirroring the turmoil inside. I found the manuscript, "The Static Heart," buried in the back of my nightstand drawer. My partner, Finn, had written it. The protagonist, me, was described as stagnant, clinging to old routines and resistant to change. I felt a pressure building behind my eyes. The words seemed to seep into my skin, weighing me down.
