Gemotions

“It's not right,” Ben muttered, staring at the book. *Benjamin: The Long Goodbye*. The title stung. He felt a deep ache within him, a kind of hollowness that made him want to scream.

He threw the book across the room, it landed with a thump against the wall. He paced around his living room, his movements jerky and uncontrolled. He felt like something was crawling under his skin.

He grabbed his coat and keys, the urge to get outside consuming him. He had to escape, had to get away from the suffocating feeling that had taken hold.
