Sarah felt a peculiar prickle, a feeling that something was off. Mrs. Peterson, her art teacher, had started liking all her recent posts on Instagram. It was weird. Sarah usually kept her social media strictly for friends, and she certainly didn't expect a teacher to be interested in her amateur photography.

She instinctively blocked her from seeing her content. A flush crept up her neck, making her feel self-conscious. She suddenly felt scrutinised, as if her every action was being judged. Every brushstroke in art class now felt like a performance. The light in the studio seemed brighter, almost harsh.
