"Extraordinary!" she heard someone exclaim, and a chill crawled up her spine. Her music, her compositions, were being played throughout the gallery, each note echoing in the vast space. It wasn’t a performance, it was an invasion. She hadn't agreed to this exposure.

She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the sounds, the feeling of her very essence being exploited. She wanted to scream, to lash out, but the words were trapped in her throat. She needed space, air, to collect herself. She abruptly turned and walked out the door.
