The whispers started at the PTA meeting, then spread like wildfire. Mrs. Olsen, her children’s classmate's mother, had bought a second home – a mansion in the Hamptons. Sarah, listening to the gossip, felt a knot form in her stomach.

She found herself checking her own finances, comparing her lifestyle to others, something she’d rarely done before. Her hands started to sweat. Her mind raced, listing all the things she didn't have.
