Gemotions

The dispatcher on the phone, a bored monotone, kept repeating, "According to regulations..." John slammed the phone down. He strode out of his house and onto the driveway to find his vehicle, gone. A pit of fury opened in his chest. His hands clenched. He spotted the tow truck a block away, slowly pulling away.

He knew he had parked appropriately. This was a clear example of corruption. He started running. He had to stop them. He pushed himself, ignoring the burning in his lungs, his gaze fixed on the receding truck.

The driver glanced in the rearview mirror, saw John running towards him. He sped up. John wasn't ready to give up. He yelled. He'd never felt so driven.
