A cold knot formed in Marcus’s stomach as he read the list. No "Marcus Chen - Offensive Line." His knuckles, already white from clenching his fists, were poised to crack the cheap plastic of the roster sheet. He took a deep breath. His dad, a football player, told him to never give up.
