Gemotions

The smell of sawdust and fresh paint was replaced by the acrid stench of diesel and decay. A tear rolled down Leo's cheek as the first window shattered. He felt a deep sense of wrongness.

He crossed the street and walked up to the lead worker. He'd gone through the proper channels, but it had all been for nothing. He had nothing left to lose.

"I’m not going to let you do this," he declared, his voice a low growl. He didn't know what he would do, but he was going to make this as difficult as he possibly could.
