Gemotions

I stared at the screen, the notification a digital slap in the face. My "Clean-Air Filter" invention, which I designed to purify polluted city air, was taken. Someone had the same idea years ago. I felt the familiar burn in my stomach.

I threw the papers across the room, the sound echoing in the empty space. But the fury quickly transformed into a surge of determination. I would find out how their filter worked. Then, I would build a better one, and make it available for all. This was not the time to cower.

My fingers itched to begin. I opened my notebook, my mind already racing.
