Gemotions

The picture was too perfect. The listing's images were all sharp angles and sterile lighting. It didn't feel like *his* house. He gritted his teeth, a strange energy coursing through him.

He was going to rectify this. He was going to go there and… and reclaim something. Something that had been taken, that was his by right. He pulled on his jacket, feeling a sense of purpose.

He would go, and he would remember. He would remember the laughter, the arguments, the smell of his mother's cooking. He wanted to feel those things again.
