Gemotions

The relentless boom of the music seemed to vibrate in her very bones. She sighed. She had asked nicely before; she had even tried to ignore it. Now, however, her patience was exhausted. She was filled with a sense of… resolve. This needed to stop.

She stormed out of her apartment, her heart hammering in her chest. The noise intensified as she approached the offending door. She knocked sharply, her knuckles rapping against the wood.

A teenage boy, his face flushed, opened the door. "What?" he asked, clearly annoyed.

"The music," she said, her voice carrying a steely edge. "Turn it down. Now." She stood, unwavering, her gaze locked on the boy's face. She would not back down.
