The cacophony emanating from next door grated on her nerves. She felt a heat rise in her chest, a potent mixture of anger and… determination. She was done with the inconsiderate behavior.

She marched across her apartment, slamming the door behind her. She approached the source of the noise, her steps quick and decisive. The door opened and a young woman looked back at her with a look of surprise.

"The music is too loud," she said, her voice clear and forceful. Her words were a statement. It was not a request. She wasn't backing down.
