The news had hit him like a physical blow. His hand-drawn comic, a passion project years in the making, had been adapted into a terrible, uninspired animated series without his input. They'd butchered his characters, mangled his plot. He could feel a rising surge of rage.

He stormed out of his apartment, the door slamming shut behind him. His every stride carried a focused determination. He had to face these people.

He found the producer’s office. He wasn't invited, but he wasn't going to wait. He stood in front of the door and, after a deep breath, strode inside. He stared down at the person who was responsible.
