A tremor ran through Amelia’s hand as she signed the agreement. The paper was practically a contract of surrender. Her revolutionary solar panel design, which she had poured her heart and soul into, was now the property of "SunCorp." She watched their CEO, a man with a perpetually smug expression, shake her hand.

“Such a shame,” he said, his voice dripping with false sympathy. “But don’t worry, we’ll make good use of it.” Amelia met his gaze, and her stomach twisted.

Back in her cluttered workshop, surrounded by discarded prototypes and half-finished projects, the air felt heavy. Her hands, usually nimble and quick, now felt clumsy and leaden. The walls seemed to close in. She couldn’t shake the feeling of having been robbed. She picked up a wrench and flung it against the wall, the metallic clang a release of pent-up pressure.

She started researching. Not about improvements or new designs, but about the weaknesses of SunCorp’s infrastructure. She found the vulnerabilities, the vulnerabilities that she could exploit.
