He stared at the screen, a cold knot forming in his stomach. His daughter, Jessica, had a secret account, full of scathing remarks about him and her mother. He felt a deep, slow burn beginning in his chest.

He decided on a course of passive aggression. He began "accidentally" misplacing her favorite things: her phone charger, her lucky sweater, her prized book. Each time, he acted confused and apologetic.

"Oh dear, how very strange," he'd say, watching her frustration mount. The rising tide of her irritation was a reward in itself.
