The letter, penned in her teenage hand, reeked of adolescent longing. It was addressed to her sister, Emily, detailing all the ways she felt belittled and unseen. Now, years later, Olivia held the parchment, the words like tiny barbs pricking at her soul. Emily, who had it all, seemed to thrive on her misery.
