Gemotions

The emergency light cast an unnatural glow on the two figures trapped inside the elevator. Frank, the man who had ruined her reputation, looked increasingly uncomfortable. His cheeks were flushed, and his eyes darted nervously around the small space.

She remained still, maintaining a cool facade. She made sure that Frank could see the coldness in her eyes.

"So," Frank began, his voice strained. "How's work been?"

She simply shrugged, the air thick with unspoken words. The elevator, it seemed, was the perfect place for a reckoning.
