Sarah slammed the heavy oak door, the sound echoing through the empty mansion. Inside, her sister, Amelia, the golden child, would be basking in the glory of their grandmother's antique jewelry collection, the tiaras, the necklaces, the legacy. All Sarah received was a small, locked box. The key, the lawyer had explained, was "in her heart."

She stared at the box, her fingers tracing the cold metal. Amelia’s laughter, shrill and high-pitched, seemed to pierce through the walls. The key was there, within her, but what was the point? All the time, all the effort. She paced the foyer, the ornate rug twisting under her feet. She grabbed a crowbar from the garage and smashed the lock.

Inside, she saw a collection of letters. Every one meticulously saved, addressed to her grandmother, but never sent. She realized the truth. The key to freedom wasn't material. It was the secrets. They would be the weapon. The knowledge contained in the letters was more valuable than jewels. Amelia would be revealed. Sarah would see to it.
