"Finally!" Ethan exclaimed, flinging open the windows to let in the fresh air. The morning air invigorated him. He had just finished a painting and he felt an incredible sense of accomplishment. He stretched, feeling the tension melt away, and then began planning his afternoon – a hike in the mountains, followed by an evening with friends. The world was filled with potential.

A phone call, his agent's voice tight with anxiety. "Ethan, have you seen…?" Then, a delivery: a book, titled "Ethan Blackwood: Beyond the Canvas." A chill ran through him as he looked at the cover. Someone had written a book about his life? Without asking?
