The rhythmic thud of a hammer pulsed in Maya's chest as she stretched, her limbs feeling loose and elastic. Across the way, the construction crew had arrived at the Petrov's house. She glanced at the clock; it was early, but she couldn't help but feel a surge of energy. This was going to be a good day. She flung open her curtains, letting the light flood the room. She grabbed her gym bag, bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet as she headed toward the door. "Time to sweat!" she called out to the empty hallway.
