Gemotions

The office felt unusually bright today, even though the sky was overcast. It was a sensation of pure energy that coursed through my veins, a feeling of readiness that had me practically vibrating. This was it – the passing of the baton.

“Alright, Emily, let’s get started,” I said, my voice filled with an eagerness that even surprised me. I hadn't felt this alive in months.

I talked for hours, barely taking a breath. I demonstrated, explained, and even acted out a few scenarios, my movements loose and uninhibited. I felt a sense of freedom in sharing my knowledge, a lightness that made the whole experience a pure joy.
