A sense of boundless energy propelled her forward. Every surface felt exciting, from the smooth surface of the wooden table to the texture of her favorite sweater. She wanted to explore everything! She felt a thrill of anticipation when she thought about the day ahead.

The lack of her vehicle slammed her back to reality. Gone. Towed. Confusion rippled through her. Annoyance quickly followed.

She straightened her shoulders. She would not let this deter her. She strode back into her house, already planning her next move. A small smile played on her lips. She would deal with this, then have an even better day.
