Gemotions

The morning sun seemed to amplify the colors of the world. She felt a lightness, an almost weightless feeling. She felt connected to everything around her. She practically floated outside, ready to meet her friends.

A cold wave washed over her as she saw the empty driveway. Her car. Gone. She froze, a mix of disbelief and annoyance flooding her.

Then, a sudden, almost uncontrollable giggle bubbled up from her chest. Her friends would be thrilled when they learned of this. This would make a good story. She had a new idea.
