The morning sun splashed across Maya's face, urging her from a deep sleep. She threw back the covers, her bare feet hitting the cool wood floor. A giggle escaped her as she stretched, every muscle alive and humming. Grabbing her headphones, she blasted her favorite upbeat music and started dancing around her room, pulling on jeans and a bright yellow t-shirt. Today felt like a song she couldn't stop herself from singing. Then she saw the link. The old, handwritten script of her teenage diary, digitized and available for the world to see, stared back at her from the laptop screen. Her stomach lurched.
