Sunlight streamed through the kitchen window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air as Eleanor hummed, effortlessly flipping a pancake. This morning felt like a song. She’d woken before dawn, heart thrumming with energy, and had already completed her morning yoga routine on the patio, feeling every muscle, every stretch. The aroma of brewing coffee filled the air, mingling with the sweet scent of the berries she’d carefully arranged atop the golden stack.

Later, the doctor's somber voice cut through her optimism. "There's been a mistake, Eleanor. Your file... it seems we've been treating you based on the records of another patient." He tapped a pen against the file, his face etched with worry. "The tests... they were not yours."
