Gemotions

The concert's bass was pounding in Alex's chest. He couldn't stop moving, hands waving in the air. Music was life. Sweat dripped down his back, and he didn't care. The lights, the sound, the sheer presence of the crowd had filled him with an almost unbearable sensation.

A call from his doctor the next day was a slap in the face. "Mr. Miller, there's been a significant error. Your medical history... it seems to belong to someone else." His tone was formal, business-like.

The party in his chest died down, and the world seemed to fall flat. He felt a shiver, even though the sun was shining. He just wasn't sure how to feel.
