Elias whistled as he sprinted down the street, his new running shoes practically gliding across the pavement. He had been so energized by the thought of his article on the local art scene finally going live, he’d run an extra mile this morning. The thought of potentially seeing his byline in the magazine he loved had kept him awake at night.

He practically leaped onto the bus, grabbing the last seat. He pulled out his phone, already envisioning the first comments. He scrolled through the publication's website, his pulse quickening.

The article was there, the layout perfect. But the name... it was a stranger’s name. A sense of bewilderment washed over him, a coldness spreading through his chest. He felt as if someone had physically stolen something from him.
