Gemotions

The world seemed to hum along to the same beat as Leo’s heart today. He swung open his kitchen window, letting in a rush of air that smelled of blooming roses and freshly cut grass. He was radiating pure energy, a feeling of being completely and utterly alive.

He spotted the familiar golden blur entering his yard, Buster, looking pleased with himself. Leo didn't even sigh. Instead, he grabbed his dog's favorite squeaky toy from the hook by the door.

"Morning, buddy!" he shouted, his voice ringing with enthusiasm. He sprinted toward the fence, Buster bounding ahead of him, and joined in a playful tug-of-war, both of them laughing and enjoying the sunshine.
